Travelling

We visit the Edradour distillery on this long day of travelling from the Kintyre peninsula to the Cairngorms in Scotland. It never ceases to amaze us how diverse the Scottish landscape is, and how each area abounds in beauty., as well as distilleries of course.

There is always another distillery

Where ever we travel, there is always a moment to visit a distillery. So, today we find time for the Edradour distillery

By now we have almost filled the booklet we picked up on our first visit to Scotland with the acquired stamps.

Just a few more to go and we would have accomplished this particular tour. Although it must be said that for each stamp and distillery visited  there were two more distilleries not mentioned in that folder  but visited nonetheless.

Edradour distillery

This distillery sells a great many different bottles, depending on te , very specific tyes of casks that the whiskey has been ripening in. We take a bottle home whereof the whiskey ripened in a sauvignon cask. I wonder will we really be able to taste that if we open it?
